■施主は茶道の教師で日本文化に造詣が深く、自然の中で自然に生きる美学を具体化しようと移転を決意。
■120年前の農家の土間の木組みをそっくり移築し、現代的な切妻屋根で覆い、中心に白い茶室を設けた入れ子構造の家を設計した。
■外界とは曲面のコンクリート壁で区切られ、内部は川面より約6m高いレベルに居間を配置した。
■この居間は古材で囲み、さらに内部に白い茶室を内蔵している。
■ The owner is a teacher of the tea-ceremony and has a deep aesthetics of Japanese culture. She bought a site beside the small river, and want to built a house to live in nature and forget to busy urban life.
She corrected the timber beam and columns of 120 years old farm house.
■ Architect designed the modern roof over the space of traditional structure, and put the white tea room in the center, such as a modern room nested in the traditional house which is nested in modern roof.
■ Outer curved concrete wall is a boundary from normal living style, inside of which is an immersioned space in natural living with river and nature, and traditional culture.
